Welcome to Jeep Ducking!

 

Some might call me an “Old Man,” and fifty years ago, I might have agreed! But life has a funny way of keeping us young at heart. Today, I’m the proud father of a lovely daughter and two awesome sons, not to mention the doting grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren who light up my world.

Family is everything to me, and it’s shaped who I am and why I’m here. I am luck to have the same wife that I started with back 16 June 1978, My youngest son, David Wayne, may have left this world too soon, but he left behind an incredible gift – my youngest grandson. David is always in my heart and on my mind.

 

In honor of David’s vibrant spirit, I’d like to share a little memorial with you all. At 36, he was full of life and adventure. I can just picture him now, cruising in a Jeep, the wind in his hair, ready for the next exciting “duck” sighting. (And if you’re scratching your head wondering what “ducking” is, stick around – that’s a story for another day!)

This site? Well, it’s a bit like life – unpredictable, full of surprises, and hopefully, a whole lot of fun. One day you might find heartfelt memories, the next day could bring some off-the-wall humor, and who knows what the day after might bring!

 

So, buckle up and join me on this journey. We’ll laugh, we’ll remember, we’ll celebrate life in all its crazy, beautiful forms. And who knows? You might just spot a rubber duck or two along the way.
